¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ University Women’s Lacrosse heads to Emmitsburg, Md. this weekend for the 2025 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship. The second-seeded Stags won a share of the MAAC Regular Season title to earn a bye to the semifinal round, where they will meet third-seeded Siena on Friday, May 2 at 4 p.m. The tournament is being hosted by top-seeded Mount St. Mary’s.
The Stags are playing for their ninth MAAC Championship and NCAA postseason bid. Last season, Head Coach Laura Field’s squad earned the first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament in ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ or MAAC women’s lacrosse history. ¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ has reached the NCAA postseason in sixth consecutive seasons.
¼â½ÐÊÓÆµ is 9-7 this season included a 7-1 mark against MAAC foes. The Stags placed three student-athletes on the All-MAAC First Team: defender Macey Daly ’24, draw specialist Brynn Donnelly ’26, and MAAC Offensive Player of the Year Amanda Kozak ’24.
Friday’s first semifinal will pit the host Mount St. Mary’s against fourth-seeded Iona. The MAAC Championship Game is slated for Sunday, May 4 at 11 a.m., .
